George Strait

Friday night George Strait came to concert. I went with Rachel, Kristen, Shane, Kelsey, and Kurt. George put on an amazing show. There were a few songs that I love that he didn't play, but I guess when you're a MEGAstar with millions of #1 hits you can't play them all.

We came early so we could make sure that we got great seats. We sit on the grass (which is the best way to go), but if you don't go early you sit way in the back. Here we are...roasting in the hot, hot sun.

Here's George playin' his heart out. He is an amazing artist.

GNO: Classic Skating

Last Saturday was Girl's Night Out with my friends from Spanish Fork. We decided to go to dinner and then head over to Classic Skating. It was lots of fun and always a good time getting together with the girls.

Here's a shot of the girls (minus Angie, who's taking the picture) worn out after a little skate dancing in the middle of the floor.
Rachel trying to learn some moves from this cool kid. He was pretty amazing on his skates!

Val and Bre skating ever so carefully around the rink.

Ang and I were trying to find a setting that would work really good in the dark lighting. We chose Candle Setting and this is what we got. I actually think it's an awesome picture.

Me posing with my cool socks. I had to sport some awesome socks since we were at classic. I don't have a pic of Angie and Alicia posing in their fabulous outfits, but they definitely went all out. From lime green jumpsuits to shiny black pleather pants.....how can you go wrong?

Rach and Val posing before taking off on their skates.

One final pose of the group. We are missing Char (who came to dinner) and Dianna who couldn't make it. Thanks for the good times girls!!!

Summer Adventures 2009

It's time for Summer Adventures 2009. Rachel, Rebekah, and I decided to keep our tradition of Utah activities during the summer.
Activity 1: Utah's Hogle Zoo
The group shot in front of the sign....it was too hot to sit on the rock wall so we had to stand in front.
Rachel and Rebekah checkin' out the elephants. This was actually the first time I had ever seen the elephants in the "natural" habitat area.

Rachel and I posing with the Tigers.

Rachel apparently can't read.....

Yep, the typical measuring picture....This just shows that I can totally take on a Gorilla if we ever come in contact. I tower over him and I'm almost as wide!
Rebekah really wanted to buy some sort of hat....options: Asian hat or Green visor with brim. I told her to definitely go for the Asian look.

The lady who took this said that it was "such a CUTE picture!" I mean look at us....of course it's cute! :)
