Hello again!

Well I've been horrible about updating the blog with progress on the remodel, but there's been progress.  A lot of the latest work has been new plumbing in the floor, so there hasn't been many things to photograph, but here are some additional photos of the demolition as it continued along.

It took me forever to figure out what this arch was since I originally discovered it in the bedroom. After we opened up the hall it made sense that a phone sat here.

This is the inside of the door to the closet just off the dining room

You can see measurements for kids as they got taller over the years. We didn't recognize any of the names on it.
Part of the remodel includes tearing up the carpet and taking advantage of the pristine hard wood floors underneath.  I'm expecting these will clean up very nicely once we're all done.

Is there any question why it was such a slow drain?

Had to make this fancy temporary work around so I can still shower while the remodel continues on

We will be replacing the old copper piping with PEX tubing. It will allow us to use less energy and water once everything is done

Old & new

The toilet for the small bathroom has been moved over to allow for the new laundry room

And this is what it looks like now!
