As we started our demolition, I thought about what kinds of things we may discover. I fully expected to find knob and tube wiring, maybe some water damaged flooring underneath the carpets, and other unexpected surprises. We found the wiring on the first day, but my first actual surprise came when I started tearing into the wall of the large bathroom.
As I was pulling lathe and plaster out of the walls, there was a sound
that I can only describe as money falling out of the walls. When I
looked closer it was actually used razors, and there were tons of them.
It finally explained the slot in the mirror in the pink bathroom that I
had been wondering about.

This is just too funny! I do remember the razor slot.
No kidding Pam. There aren't any rumors of money hidden in the walls that I know of, but if there is I'm sure we'll find it!
