"Life Is Short"

"Two Thumbs Up"
It looks like they are back in the game! This episode was just what I was looking for. It was more of a story instead of highlights like the past two weeks have been. Lindsey came back and finally said goodbye. Now we can get back to the Lucas and Peyton storyline that we have all been waiting for. Brooke is trying to figure out if she really does want to do this mom stuff. We all knew that she was just a 22 year old liking the idea of having a child. When it really comes down to it I think tonight showed that she isn't quite ready. Dan is back to his manipulating old self. I hope that they don't give in since apparently Dan is dying. And finally this episode made me realize that I am getting old. During the water fight in the apartment all I could think was....."Why are they doing that inside? They are getting all the furniture wet!" Yes, I am definitely getting old!
I hope you all enjoyed this episode as much as I did. Until next week.....

All About Me #2

I know you have all been waiting to read my post "Things Everyone Wants to Know About Me" so here we go:

What were you doing 10 years ago?
I was 15 years old so that puts me in 10th grade. I think 10th grade was probably one of my favorites in high school even though I wasn't a hugh fan of high school. I was still in my akward stages (they lasted until I was 23 years old) working at Gordon's CopyPrint.

5 things on my to-do list today
1. Go to my mom's to help with my sister's quilt.
2. Eat dinner
3. Watch American Idol results
4. Clean my room
5. Take my camping gear back to my mom

6 snacks I enjoy
1. Stax Chips in Mesquite BBQ
2. Movie popcorn
3. Stax Chips in Mesquite BBQ
4. Nibs
5. Stax Chips in Mesquite BBQ

3 Bad Habits
1. I pick at my nails (kind of like biting, but I don't put them in my mouth)
2. I love to sleep all the time
3. I drink Mountain Dew (and love it!)

If I were suddenly a billionaire, I would....
Definitely go shopping, buy my parents some stuff, pay off all of my debt, buy a house and a new car, give my family some "spending" money

5 places I've lived
Bountiful, Ephraim, Logan, Bountiful, Salt Lake City

5 jobs I've had
Gordon's CopyPrint
Sanpete Community Training (Working with kids with disabilities)
Snow College Athletics Center Secretary Assistant
Comfort Inn Front Desk Clerk
North Eastern Services (LSI, Residential Manager, Day Service Specialist, Behavior Specialist)

5 things people may not know about me
1. If I wasn't a teacher, I would want to be either an FBI Agent or a Police Detective without having to do all the grunt work to get there.
2. I made an "Ugly Sweater Girls Calendar" with my roommates for our Christmas Party.
3. I want to certify to become a yoga instructor
4. I have no desire to try snowboarding or snow skiing.
5. I have an amazing memory and can remember everything (details included such as what someone was wearing, exact words that were said in a conversation, etc.)

Weekly Review

"What Do You Go Home To?"

One Thumb Up, One Thumb Down

Once agin, I had mixed feelings about this weeks episode. I am having a hard time getting back into the episodes of One Tree Hill. Don't get me wrong, I still absolutely love the show, but it just isn't sucking me in like it usually does.

This week we learned that Brooke is going to get a "trial" baby. She is housing and taking care of a child coming from another company to have surgery. Milicent is moving in with Mouth (Marvin McPhaden). Hailey is Peyton's newly signed artists. Nathan is beginning to play ball again and Lucas is back in town and still in love with Lindsey (and Peyton). I didn't learn anything new or exciting and am still waiting for Lucas to realize that he wants Peyton.

I am waiting for an episode to leave me hanging and want more. The episode before the three week vacation was just the type that I love. An episode that leaves you wishing that you were watching it on DVD so you could pop in the next one is what I want. Hopefully with Lindsey coming back will help with the excitement.

Have Fun Watching!!!

Vegas....Finally!

About a month ago I went to Las Vegas with Kristen, Rachel, and Katie for Kristen's bachelorette party and I finally got all the pictures. We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in an amazing suite. We hung out by the pool, gambled a little bit (I won $100), ate sushi at a fabulous restaurant, danced at Body English, shopped, and much more. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

One of my tires was really low on air on the way down so we had to stop and put air in it. Of course there are three gas stations at that exit, but only one has an air pump and it is broken. We drove very slowly to the next exit.
Kristen chillin' on the couch in our room.

Kristen and I hanging out at Body English. We met some people that were there for a bachelor party and we all hung out.

Hanging outside of our rooms.

The pool at Hard Rock Hotel. It was pretty amazing.

Reading magazines on our very hard sofa.

Kristen and I hangin' by the pool.

Rach and Kris sunbathing.

Girlies at Body English. We had to have at least one ugly picture, right?
I had a blast and I hope Kristen enjoyed her bachelorette party. It was a good vacation away from work, home, and definitely the cold!
